Wolters Kluwer Future Ready Lawyer Survey drives discussion on tech innovation best practices in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic

By Brad Rosen, J.D.

A panel consisting of some the nation’s top law firm librarians and knowledge management pros looked to the 2021 Wolters Kluwer Future Ready Lawyer Survey: Moving Beyond the Pandemic as a jumping off point for a lively discussion about technological innovation in the wake of COVID-19 at the recent ARK Knowledge Management Legal 2021 conference. The panel members took a critical look at some of the unintended consequences associated with the rapid technological innovation that followed the pandemic’s onset, and offered their insights and recommendations for best practices.

The panel was moderated by the well-known law librarian Jean O’Grady, who pens the widely read Dewey B Strategic blog. Other panel members included Ken Crutchfield, Vice President & General Manager at Wolters Kluwer Legal & Regulatory, U.S., Gina Lynch, Chief Knowledge and Innovation Officer at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP, and June Liebert, Director of Information Services at O'Melveny & Myers LLP.
