In Memoriam: Amy Leisinger

Wolters Kluwer lost a valued colleague last week. Amy Leisinger, an attorney and securities law expert, passed away unexpectedly. Amy was a vital contributor to Securities Regulation Daily, having authored nearly 1,300 stories for the newsletter during her career. A quick study with a curious mind, Amy developed broad knowledge of the securities industry with special expertise in investment company and investment adviser matters. She was an intelligent and versatile writer who wrote as skillfully about SEC and Congressional hearings as she did about accounting, enforcement, and international developments. Amy’s plain-spoken demeanor, wry sense of humor, and editorial excellence will be sorely missed.
