Ohio Delays Setting "IA Switch" Date
The date "mid-size" advisers will be required to switch to state registration in Ohio will not occur until during or after the first quarter of 2012, according to an update on the Investment Adviser Switch Notice by the Securities Division. Advisory firms should not withdraw from SEC registration until the time period announced in the SEC's implementation rules, at which time the Ohio Securities Division will provide additional information on the Division's timeline and requirements for state registration.
