NASAA Opens Registration for Annual Conference in Denver

The North American Securities Administrators Association (NASAA) will convene its 92nd Annual Conference at the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel in Denver, Colorado from September 13–15, 2009. The conference will provide an excellent opportunity to network with professionals from the worlds of finance and investments, securities regulation, and public policy.

Panel presentations will cover the following topics:

- The Role of State Regulators in the New Financial Services Regulatory Landscape

- Enforcement: Enhancing Regulatory Cooperation to Strengthen Investor Protection

- Monitoring the Middlemen: Enhancing the Regulation of Third Party Finders

- NSMIA 13 Years Later: How Investors Have Fared

The conference will also feature a luncheon with a presidential address by NASAA President-elect Denise Voigt Crawford of Texas.
