Hawaii Reduces Certain Securities Fees by 50% in 2009

Hawaii has reduced certain securities fees by 50% to the following amounts. The reduced amounts are in effect from January 1, 2009 through December 31, 2009. On January 1, 2010, the original (and higher) fees will be reinstated. NOTE: The fee for Rule 505 and 506 offerings under federal Regulation D remains at $100.

Reduced fee amounts:
  • Dealer application, 100; renewal, $100
  • Investment adviser application, $50; renewal $50
  • Salesperson application, $25; renewal $25
  • Investment adviser representative application, $25; renewal $25
  • Investment company securities initial filing, $100; renewal filing $25
